Swimming lessons for beginners (8.15 pm)
Hey guys,
Finally... Swimming courses are up and running again since everything got shut down because of Corona.
Here is the deal:
_8 BEGINNERS swimming lessons. (one per week, starting on as indicated in the table below) . These are lessons for people who do not know how to swim. Equivalent to Beginners 1 + 2 (You do not want to be the only one not going into the lake, no?).
_ Lessons on 26 Sep, 10 Oct, 17 Oct, 24 Oct, 7 Nov, 14 Nov, 21 Nov, 28 Nov (no lessons during the school autumn holidays 31.10-04.11)
_Lessons will be in English.
_Mixed classes male and female
_Professional swimming teacher
_All materials and teaching materials are provided (For hygienic reasons, swimming trunks and Bikini have to be bought by each person separately... They can be bought for less than 3 Euros. Goggles are not necessary and will not be provided).
_The swimming pool has 29 degrees, so you will not freeze
_ Entrance to swimming pool included
_Location: Perlacherstr. 114, reachable via U2, U7, U8, S-Bahn and Bus
Please note: We had to increase the prices due to Corona hygiene rules and the massive rise in electricity/gas prices.
And then you can come to any event by the lake and will not be the one standing on the side line... Teacher will be the bald guy in the photos.

Unfortunately we have to move the start of the first lesson from the 26.09 to the 10th October (the 03 October is a national holiday), as the teacher has some medical emergency on that day. The lesson that you miss will be tagged on at the end.

Here is the final information for the swimming classes. The teacher will wait for you directly at the swimming pool (remember to bring your swimming clothes/trunks, no need for swimming goggles).
Here is how you get to the swimming pool: The swimming pool is inside the primary school at Perlacher Str. 114 in Muenchen Giesing. The access is over the right-side entrance. Keep to the right and take the corridor leading into the building, past the sports halls. You will see the swimming pool there.
Using public transport, the swimming pool can be easily reached. The U-Bahn station Untersberg-Strasse and the S-Bahn station Giesing are within easy walking distance. The bus 54 stops directly in front of the school.
Please note that your lessons start on the time listed above on the dot. You need to be there 15 min earlier (at least) in order to change into your bathing clothes!

If that does not work, then you can also go in the app onto Groups, then Events Groups and then join the Swimming group.
