We are no longer accepting registrations for this event

Ever wanted to learn how to ski? There is nothing that makes more fun than learning how to ski (taught in english). You can see the reviews of previous people by clicking on the Organiser.

IFM has managed to get some very interesting deals with a professional ski school in Lenggries. Now the season has finally started. Here is the deal.

_Meet-up at Munich HbF at the time indicated in the table below (yes, it is early but it will always be the case if you want to go skiing). We buy the ticket (Gruppen BOB-MVV ticket, 37 Euros for up to 5 people, not included in price).

_ Arrive at Lenggries and take the bus (will be obvious which one, there is only one)

_Get out at Brauneck Bahn.

_Go to Skischule Isarwinkel.

_They will have the rentals ready (choose them in the registration form, they add 26 Euros to the cost)

_3 hours of courses (complete beginners, breaking and doing slow curves).

_Ski together the rest of the day (if you are not too tired...)

_Leave back to Munich at the lastest at 17.30 (last bus). You can decide this in your BOB-ticket group.

YOU WILL ONLY NEED TO BUY A SKI TICKET FOR THE BABYLIFT IF YOU ARE COMPLETE BEGINNER (or braking and curves, should be between 7 and 10 euros). If you are able to take the skilift then you will (very likely but up to the ski teacher) only need a ticket for the Traidlhang.

NB: The snowboard lessons are not happening anymore as there were too few people who subscribed.

Hi, the ski lessons have been cancelled because not enough people signed up. The money has been paid back to your accounts.
Kind regards,
Tim
Hi, several people asked me about the equipment. I have copied the answer here.

The 50 Euro are for that one skiing lesson. When you continue in the booking process you can choose to rent the equipment.Apart from that equipment that you can rent, you will need to buy some skiing pants still (they are water-tight trousers) and I would counsel some water tight gloves. They cost from 20 Euro for the trousers and about 10 Euro for the gloves.Otherwise, you can take your normal winter clothes will be just fine.
Kind regards,
Tim
Some pictures of last weeks lessons.I will again be going down so those who want a day out without lessons are welcome to join.
