Below you will find the general terms and conditions of EuroTrip Adventures, 85101 Lenting (hereinafter referred to as “EuroTrip Adventures”, “promoters”, “we” or “us”). Please read these carefully as we have included important information on the relationship between you (hereinafter referred to as “user” or “Traveller”) and EuroTrip Adventures.

1 Travel Contract
1.1 Travel registration shall become binding on receipt in accordance with the description for 5 days. The registration can only be carried out in writing or online. The travel contract is concluded upon successful payment and a confirmation email will be sent from EuroTrip Adventures to the traveller(s) within 48 hours.
1.2 If the content of the travel confirmation diverges from the content of the registration, you will receive a new offer from us. The travel contract shall take effect on the basis of this new offer if the traveler agrees to this. The agreement can be made by the explicit or conclusive explanation, such as the written agreement, payment of the price or the deposit. Amendments to the trip, such as room changes (e.g. double rooms instead of dormitories) cannot be guaranteed and will depend on the availability of the accommodation. If it is not possible to pay for the upgrade the room on the website, the traveler(s) may inform EuroTrip Adventures and he/she will be confirmed via email if it is possible to upgrade and the extra amount will be paid in cash to the trip leader during the trip.
1.3 The payment has to be made by the selected payment method (credit card, PayPal, Sofort Überweisung or bank transfer) to a maximum of 2 days after booking confirmation receipt with us. We reserve the right to send booking confirmations in case of personal prevention later than 48 hours after payment.
1.4 The scope of contractual services is binding for the terms of reference on www.eurotripadventures.com for the travel period. Other overnight accommodation and service provider owned brochures or websites are not relevant. The employees of EuroTrip Adventures are not authorized for oral agreements.
1.5 Upon payment of the specified services in the booking confirmation tour price, you accept the general terms and conditions.
1.6 The booking confirmation that you receive with the booking number must be brought on the trip together with a valid ID document. Our team members reserve the right to exclude persons from the trip who are without a booking confirmation, a passport or ID (for members of the EU) or who have violated in any way against our terms and conditions. If parents have agreed via email to bring his/her own booster seat for a child(ren) and fail to bring the aforementioned booster seat, we retain the right to refuse travel.
1.7 Our team members will be there to be there as the main point of contact for the traveler throughout the stay. Each team member will provide a telephone number and can be reached at any time. However, they are are not professional tour guides and not responsible for conveying historical facts, conducting tours or anything similar. The team members are also not responsible to take care of children, help elderly or disabled people; thus a second traveller must accompany him/her for the duration of the trip.
2.1 All prices are in euros (€). We are not responsible for any fees, which other banks charge for currency conversion.
2.2 We do not accept payment in installments. If installment payments have been agreed in individual cases, this must be noted in the booking confirmation. Each installment must be received by a certain date. In violation of that period, it cannot be guaranteed that the traveler’s place is reserved. If the booking is cancelled (by written confirmation of the traveler or by written notification of EuroTrip Adventures), payments which have already been made will be refunded within 7 days. A processing fee of 3.50€ will be charged if the violation of the deadline is at the expense of the traveler. Cancellations within 30 days prior to departure will be charged as per item.
2.3 A travel registration from 14 days prior to departure is only acceptable on the condition that the total travel price is due immediately upon receipt of the travel confirmation.
2.4 If the customer’s deposit and / or payment of the balance is not in accordance with the agreed payment due dates, the organizer is entitled to withdraw from the contract after a deadline reminder and to charge the customer the costs of withdrawal in accordance with Clause.
3 Rebooking, service changes & price alterations
3.1 Travel amendments to the travel date, the destination, the place of departure, accommodation or means of transport are not usually possible. The traveler is free to cancel prior to departure and make a new registration. In this case, cancellation fees will be applied.
3.2 Until the start of the journey, the traveler can be replaced by any other suitable travelers with a message to the organizers. EuroTrip Adventures is entitled to demand therefore a processing fee of 15€ per person for overnight travel and 5€ for a one-day-trip (without accommodation). The aforementioned processing fees also apply if the name, the passport number, birthday or any other important information of the traveler needs to be corrected for reasons which fall within the responsibility of the travelers.
3.3 EuroTrip Adventures is entitled to change individual services based on organizational necessities and unforeseeable changes. We will inform the traveler immediately and offer him/her with an explanation within five days of any changes. A right of cancellation of the traveler shall not be affected. The traveler will be notified of any such changes.
3.4 If the traveler has booked a trip which includes bus travel, approximate departure times are written in the description; however, the exact departure times will be sent at least 3 days before departure along with the infomail. Travelers are advised not to book train, flight or bus tickets before receiving the final departure times. The times of departure and arrival may change which will always be communicated before making a reservation on the Facebook event and homepage. The maximum time change may be 5 hours without the traveller having the right to cancel the reservation free of charge. EuroTrip Adventures does not advice to book any further public transport connections before the final info mail has been sent out. EuroTrip Adventures does not cover any additional costs for missed transport connections before or after the trip if the delay is due to traffic, weather conditions or other unavoidable events that may occur.
3.5 If the traveler does not make use of travel services that have been duly made available to him/her for reasons attributable to him/her, the traveler is not entitled to a full or partial reimbursement of the price.
3.6 In all cases of transfer, name changes and service changes, your right to prove that substantially lower or no costs were incurred remains unaffected.
3.7 Passanger lists will be finalized 24 hours before departure for one-day trips and 48 hours for overnight-trips, which means no changes can therefore be made after this time.
4 Optional tours or services
4.1 For some trips, there is the possibility to join an optional tour. Travelers who sign up for an optional extra activity before the due date for the sign up (communicated in the info mail) have priority. The EuroTrip Adventures team will announce on the bus if there are still places available for last minute sign-ups. If the traveler signs up for an optional extra activity, the same cancellation conditions as stated in 5.2 and 5.3 will be applied.
4.2 Optional tours are not included in the tour price and are paid on the day of the tour in cash in euros (€), unless otherwise stated.
4.3 Optional extra services which have been paid for are non-refundable and not transferable to other persons. It is the responsibility of the passenger to be on time and with all the requirements previously determined at the meeting point. If the traveler fails to be on time at the indicated meeting point, he/she is not entitled to a refund.
4.4 The traveler is not entitled to reimbursement of lost or stolen tickets or coupons.
5 Withdrawal by the traveler
5.2. Day trips (without accommodation):
If the customer would like to cancel, there are two options:
This name change will cost a fee of 5€. The fee will either be deducted from your refund or your replacement can also pay in cash on the bus.
- Every cancellation costs a fee of 10€ if you cancel more than one month before departure. This is also valid if you haven’t received the booking confirmation yet but already made the transfer. Within one month before departure, following cancellation fees are valid:
from 30 to 14 days before departure 50% refund
from 13 to 2 days prior to departure 25% refund
from 48 hours before departure 0% refund
5.3. Multiday trips, coupled with accommodation:
If the customer would like to cancel, there are two options:
This name change will cost a fee of 15€. The fee will either be deducted from your refund or your replacement can also pay in cash on the bus.
- Every cancellation more than 30 days before departure will incur a cancellation fee depending on the total cost of the trip paid to EuroTrip Adventures (per person):
Between 0€ -99€, a 10€ cancellation fee will be applied
Between 100€ -199€, a 20€ cancellation fee will be applied
Between 200€ – 299€, a 30€ cancellation fee will be applied
Between 300€ – 399€, a 40€ cancellation fee will be applied
Between 400€ – 499€, a 50€ cancellation fee will be applied
500€ and higher will incur a 10% cancellation fee. This is also valid if you haven’t received the booking confirmation yet but already made the transfer.
Within 30 days before departure, the following cancellation fees are valid:
from 30 to 14 days before departure 50% refund
from 13 to 7 days prior to departure 25% refund
from 6 days before departure 0% refund
5.4. Costs like visa, telephone or handling fees are not refundable on cancellation of the trip.
5.5. The provisions relating to the cancellation are valid for all travel, unless otherwise provided for in individual promotional material.
5.6. Tickets obtained through a sweepstake are not cashable and non-refundable.
5.7. Vouchers and discount codes are not cashable and non-refundable.
6 Cancellation of contract by EuroTrip Adventures
6.1 If the minimum number of participants has not been reached, EuroTrip Adventures is entitled to cancel the trip up to 2 days prior to departure for one day trips without accomondation and 10 days prior to departure for multiple day trips with accomodation. Any already paid travel price will be refunded in this case without delay and without handling charges. Additional costs incurred, such as shuttle transport or additional nights can not be laid at our expense.
6.2 EuroTrip Adventures is entitled to withdraw from the contract without notice if the traveler significantly disturbs the trip (e.g. harrasing fellow travelers, disobeying the requests of the trip leader(s), or if he/she behaves in violation of the contract. If the traveler is removed from the trip, EuroTrip Adentures reserves the right to the travel price and no compensation will be issued to the traveler.
6.3 If a trip cannot be carried out due to insolvency of the tour operator, the tour price is insured with R + V insurance in accordance with 651 k of the German Civil Code (BGB). The insurance certificate that the traveler receives as an attachment with the confirmation and the invoice, which is valid for the booking party and all passengers.
7 Cancellation of contract due to extraordinary circumstances
If the cancellation is due to force majeure (i.e. circumstances like political unrest, war or threat of war, riots, civil strife, closure of airports or ports, industrial disputes, terrorist activity, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemic or health risk, Acts of God, adverse weather conditions or other similar events beyond EuroTrip Adventure’s control), we will provide a refund paid to us less reasonable expenses incurred by us in respect of your booking. EuroTrip Adventures is not responsible for the cost of any other travel arrangements affected due to cancellation or the rescheduling of any trip.
8 Passport, visa and health regulations
8.1 It is the responsibility of the traveler to bring the necessary travel documents. EuroTrip Adventures is not responsible for any delays or denial of the ride, due to failing to provide these documents.
8.2 The traveler is responsible for obtaining and carrying the officially required travel documents, any necessary vaccinations and for complying with customs and currency regulations. Any disadvantages due to the non-observance of these regulations e.g. payment of withdrawal costs, are at his/her expense. We are not liable for timely issue and delivery of required visas by the diplomatic representatives in question.
9.1 Any contractual liability of the operator for damages, which are not physical injuries injury is limited to three times the travel price if the damage was not caused intentionally or through gross negligence. The same applies if the organizer is responsible for the damage alone due to a service provider.
9.2 Claims for damages because of property damage, the legal regulations apply.
9.3 If liability limitations are specified by international conventions or regulations based on such conventions for service providers of EuroTrip Adventures, EuroTrip Adventures can invoke these with appropriate insurance claims.
9.4 The organizer is not liable for disturbances to services, personal and material damages in association with services which are outside the totality of the performance owed by EuroTrip Adventures and are therefore additional services [for example, travel by scheduled public transport] represent third party services for whose flawless performance in conformity with the contract EuroTrip Adventures cannot accept liability.
9.5 Transportation is made on the basis of the conditions of the particular carrier. The rights and obligations of the organizer and the traveler in accordance with the German Travel Contract Law (Reisevertragsgesetz) and the General Terms of Travel are not limited by the terms and conditions of the respective transport provider.
9.6 Each traveler is responsible for his or her timely arrival to the departure of the transport to or from the destination itself, unless their late arrival is the result of an intentional or grossly negligent action on the part of EuroTrip Adventures. EuroTrip Adventures can not be held liable for any delays or failure to get to the excursion destination when the reason for this is not influenced by the team members of EuroTrip Adventures. This includes changes in the weather, strikes, border control, other political situations, technical failures, congestion, poor road conditions or other reasons that are out of our control.
10 People Responsibility
10.1 With payment of the trip, the traveler agrees to recognize the team members during the period of travel as an authority figure and to obey the laws of the country visited, including customs restrictions and currency exchange. In violation of laws of the country or instructions of the staff of EuroTrip Adventures, the traveler will be excluded from the trip with immediate effect the bus company, hostels or other institutions. Incidental costs incurred for return travel or the like shall be borne by the traveler. The refund or partial refund of the tour price is excluded.
10.2 The team member may make decisions outside the agreed travel process must close in favor of the security or in the best interest of the travel group. The traveler agrees to comply with this decision.
10.3 Each traveler is responsible before the arranged meeting place and to appear during the trip. If the traveller is late to the meeting time, the bus will leave at the sceduled time of departure. Any costs incurred will be borne by the traveler himself.
10.4 Each traveler assigns at the time of travel his/her image and video rights to EuroTrip Adventures. We are permitted to take photos and create videos featuring all those participating in the trip. These may be published on our website and social media website, as well as in flyers or brochures. If this is not wished by the traveler, it is his/her own responsibility to keep away from cameras and video equipment.
10.5 The team members are always approachable and will help in all situations where possible, however, are not a permanent care for the travelers. It is assumed that every traveler is able to move freely and can walk alone through cities or longer parts of the route without additional assistance of one of our team members. We cannot provide any assistance to individuals with physical disabilities. Furthermore, the coaches are not designed to transport wheelchairs. The traveller is advised to contact us to see if it is possible to attend a specific trip.
10.6 EuroTrip Adventures does not offer any kind of travel insurance. A suitable medical insurance or travel insurance is the traveler’s responsibility.
11 Obligation to cooperate
The traveler is obliged to immediately notify any defects to the representative at the destination. If such representative is not available, the organizer is to be informed of any complaints regarding the trip at its registered office. As for reachability, details of both contacts persons will be provided with the travel documents, or up until 1 day before the departure date. The representatives at the destination will take corrective action, if possible. However, it is not authorized to recognize claims. Any failure of the traveler culpably fails to report a defect, a claim to decrease does not occur.
12 Handling of complaints, terms of preclusion for claims and expiry.
12.1 They can assert to us towards claims within one month after the end of the trip. It is recommended to write the claims in writing. After the deadline, claims can only be invoked if the traveler was prevented from complying with no fault of his/her own.
12.2 The Parties agree to a limitation period of six months for contractual claims with the exception of blameworthy injury of life, body or health claims. Neither can the organizer, its legal representatives and vicarious agents intentional or grossly negligent breaches of duty be accused. For these cases, the statutory limitation period of two years in accordance with § 651g para 2 applies BGB. The period begins on the day following the contractually stipulated date of the end of the trip. Tort claims are limited to three years.
13 Other provisions and agreements
13.1 These terms and conditions apply unless individual agreements are made in the individual travel contracts.
13.2 The data provided to us is to be electronically processed, stored and distributed as part of the purpose of the contract. Personal data is protected according to the Federal Data Protection Act.
13.3 Obvious pressure and miscalculations entitle the organizer to contest the travel contract.
13.4 The above provisions shall only be valid if and insofar as after the publication of statutory provisions come into force no other provisions to the contrary.
13.5 The ineffectiveness of individual provisions does not invalidate the entire travel contract. The application of German law is agreed. The contract language is German.
13.6 Every traveler is obliged to understand the content of the Terms and Conditions or it must be translated into her/her language. With payment of the travel price, EuroTrip Adventures assumes that the Terms and Conditions have been translated and understood.
Please note: The traveler is to provide us with all information and present all documents required for the determination of the obligation to provide benefits. In accordance with § 651k (1) Nr. 2 BGB, costs necessarily incurred shall be refunded and the traveler is to avoid everything that could lead to inappropriate increase in costs.
